I switched 3 weeks ago from 1. I ended up MG1. If not all 10 players are connected to the server, then the vote will not be offered, and instead an error message will pop up in chat saying, "Not offering rematch because not all 10 players are connected.
Adding to your post, you could think about the comments coming after this one made by Valve that mention how it's probably a Gaussian.
I can have like 20 kills 10 death 6 wins in a row, the moment I go or something on that win I get an uprank. This is, for me atleast, another reason to add a more serious clan ladder, where individual performance would matter less and the teams performance would be the overall goal as you'd have a team rank.
I started at Silver 4 around 5 months ago, and it took about games to get to Gold Nova, and another to get to MG1. Do you have anything else that you would like to add? It's weird you found no Silver I and IIs.
However, these cannot act as hard evidence for a round-by-round system, as external factors e. As far as I can see it matchmakings rating a pretty clear picture of what is most likely, regarding all of Valves comments about the issue so far.
Or you played against some people before that got banned which nullified your loss against them.

That should eliminate the need to make such disruptive boundary adjustments in the future. So I would actually think that your individual performance matters when ranking. Players who queue with other serious players are more likely to win more rounds and even the match than five players that are solo-queued. A couple of things were irrelevant and were removed while some new additions were made.
There may be certain ranks where players may play more frequently than other ranks and it would be expected that they are represented more frequently than their actual distribution as there would be a higher probability of encountering them when entering random lobbies. With that said, there are two known ways that you can use to boost your Elo and hence jump up to the next rank.
Both Elo and Glicko were designed with 1v1 competition in mind. Some enjoy competitive games, so they grind for rank.
I probably didn't find any silver I or silver IIs because: This experiment does not make any allegations toward any other aspects of the matchmaking rank system. The first cooldown will last for 30 minutes, the second is 2 hours, then 24 hours, and lastly 7 days.
Want to add to the discussion? Yes, individual performance does affect your rank. I was in silve for a long time, starting at silver 2 I think.
Not sure if anything has been proven since. Maybe I'm missing it somewhere in the post, but I don't think OP lists the order of the games. Unfortunately it is impossible to get an unbiased SRS of the ranks in the playerbase as of now. Then go into casual.
